Team Lead/Supervisor

KBS Services is looking for a Day/Night- Lead/Supervisor in the Oklahoma City area.

This Lead/Supervisor will be leading a group of housekeeping workers and performing a variety of housekeeping tasks. Also will be expected to exercise some discretion while following established standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

• Lead site crews and performs scheduled work alongside crews.
• Interact with the client to provide professional and prompt customer service.
• Assist manager to train, motivate, and supervise site/store leads and crew members.
• Assist manager with the coordination of crew members scheduling to ensure appropriate staffing.
• Perform quality control inspections and performance audits.
• Monitor crew members task completion to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• May assist manager in documenting crew members performance when necessary (with management oversight)
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and consumables
• Ensure janitor closet meets safety and cleanliness standards.
• Perform required janitorial/specialty work (carpet cleaning, windows, etc.)
• Document and report issues regarding safety/security, building maintenance, damage equipment, or any other pertinent issues.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies Knowledge:

• OSHA requirements for general industry
• May require OSHA standards for Forklift/Scissor lift operators.
• Building and/or janitorial and maintenance operations (may include warehouse
• Operations (policies, guidelines) best practices
• Basic understanding of staffing processes and performance program

Skills:

• Skilled in all facets of cleaning services or building maintenance services supervise, including but not limited to, hard floor care, carpet care, and special cleaning requirements for software, bio device, warehouse or manufacturing facilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team and customer (s)
• Training skills (ability to provide clear and effective training on basic processes and safety)
• Ability to manage change and use good judgement in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to speak effectively before customers and employees
• Critical thinking with the ability to multitask and balance strategy and execution.
• Exceptional relationship management and ability to build rapport with customers.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills – computer literate
• Sets reasonable priorities.
• Demonstrates integrity and good business acumen.

Job Requirements
Required Education:

• 1 - 2 years of housekeeping or custodial experience, at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Bilingual is a big plus
• MUST pass background and drug test.

Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
