A rapidly growing PE Backed Life Science Company is seeking a Financial Analyst.
The financial analyst is an integral member of the FP&A function, working closely with key departments across the business, ensuring visibility and communication of the financial position, performance, opportunities of the company throughout the year. This data-heavy analytical role will be responsible for timely and accurate reporting of financial results, working cross functionally to provide key visibility and insight. Strong financial, accounting, communication, and customer/commercial analytical skills required.
1. Analyze financial, operational, and accounting data; develop and deliver timely reports and insights to key stakeholders across the business
2. Perform ad-hoc analysis to support various business initiatives and special projects
3. Summarize and analyze business results versus plan and forecast on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc basis.
4. Communicate recommendations and improvements to help standardize and enrich financial and customer data.
5. Contribute to monthly forecasting, month-end accounting activities, and annual planning activities
6. Assist in analysis of CRM data and trends; provide CRM organizational process enhancements
Experience Requirements:
1. 2 years experience working within a fast-paced corporate environment, data-heavy analytical role.
2. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
3. Communicating business results and trends to key stakeholders within the business
4. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related fields. MBA not required, but certainly a benefit.
