KBX is searching for a Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will be responsible for projects supporting KBX commercial strategies. This role will develop project plans, monitor project milestones, communicate status updates, identify and mitigate risks. KBX has offices in Wichita, Green Bay, and Atlanta and is open to hybrid and remote work.
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Ability to plan and work with cross functional teams to finalize projects on time and in scope
- Ability to evaluate the project’s health, understanding the issues and risks and create a plan to mitigate the risks - not just a tracker of issues, but a resolver
- Establish clear project goals and drive accountability
- Conduct project related meetings to ensure projects are on schedule, risks are identified and mitigation strategies are in place
- Manage communication flow with all interested parties
- Identify workflow improvement opportunities and facilitate change
- Utilize project management tools to document timelines, progress and risks
The Experience You Will Bring
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in project and/or change management
- Experience with cross functional, organizational change management
- Experience leading project activities in distributed locations
- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of experience in project and/or change management
- Experience with organizational and strategic thinking
- Willing and able to travel up to 10% as needed
