What are the responsibilities and job description for the Club Volleyball Coach position at KC Challenge Volleyball Club?
Overview
KC Challenge is looking for volleyball coaches for next season. We are looking for positive role models who love teaching the game of volleyball to young athletes. Currently our top teams have been filled, so this job will be more regional than national. Coaches will not be required to travel to out of state National Qualifiers. Another benefit from these teams will be less drama and stress.
Pay Range
- A head coach will be paid between $600 - $900 a month depending on the position they are hired for and the candidates experience.
- An assist. coach will be paid between $500 a month
Requirements
- Must create a positive environment that fosters players growth through motivational techniques and instruction for in-game strategy and technical skills
- Must be able to lead practices with minimal supervision
- Excellent communicator
- Coaches must be available to coach two times a week for 2 hours each night. Most nights will be on Wednesday and Friday nights starting in November. Wednesday nights will start anywhere from 6:00 - 9:45 p.m. and Fridays are more flexible based on the coaches schedule.
- Must be able to coach Tournaments on some Saturdays and Sundays between January - March.
Background
- Looking for candidates with prior volleyball coaching experience at the collegiate, high school, middle school or club level.
- Looking for candidates that played at the collegiate level.
