TITLE: Warehouse Associate (Front Desk)
DEPARTMENT: Warehouse
REPORTS TO: Warehouse Team Leader
MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE:
Responsible for coordinating warehouse emergencies, emails, and administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials and cargo.
- Prepares warehouse receipts with cargo details such as weight, dimensions, tracking/BL numbers for receiving cargo.
- Receives and prioritizes all warehouse work orders and communicates with WRH team leader for task coordination and execution.
- Sorts and places cargo/pallets on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined inventory procedures.
- Checks outgoing documentation and verifies accuracy before releasing shipments.
- Checks incoming documentation and follows receiving procedure.
- Anticipates, identifies, and resolves customer and/or carrier issues before/or as they occur.
- Follows all safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
- Resolves internal and operation problems on a diligent and business efficient manner in order to prevent service deficiencies and/or customers' dissatisfaction.
- Participates in quality improvement efforts.
- Adjust and adapt to ever-changing priorities and customer needs.
- Additional duties as required by your supervisor/manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two to four years related experience in the warehouse.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
- Proactive and attention to details.
- Ability to deliver time-pressured projects on-time and on-quality
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
