Where You Come In:
KCF Technologies is seeking participants in many areas of study to contribute to our high-performing teams as part of the Future Innovators Internship Program . This 10-week, full-time paid program June 5 – August 11 will take place at our KCF Headquarters in-person, or remotely, depending on where home is for you and what your position is. With our work from home, work from anywhere policy, the choice of where to work is yours for most of our roles!
Our home base is our headquarters in State College, PA, but you will find KCF Teammates spread across 26 different U.S. States with our flexible remote model. We give you the autonomy to define how and where you do your best work!

Essential Functions:
Software and Data Analytics Interns functions can range based on the type of position you are offered! Please read below for some examples of what you might be working on!
- Actively participate as a member of a Scrum team by:
- Creating a plan for the Sprint, the Sprint Backlog;
- Instilling quality by adhering to a Definition of Done;
- Adapting their plan each day toward the Sprint Goal; and,
- Holding each other accountable as professionals.
- Develop software in support of KCF’s various product offerings by:
- Building defined features;
- Investigating and fixing bugs;
- Writing tests.
- Makes learning part of the daily job.
- Participate in the release process of new software
- Other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor and other KCF leadership staff.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master's Degree program in a related field
- Interest in machine health or data analysis a plus
- Demonstrates leadership in field of study, extra-curricular activities or service organizations
- Willingness to ask questions, take initiative and be resourceful and inventive
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship management skills to effectively collaborate with varying levels of the organization, customers, and stakeholders as needed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability present to executive level audiences
- Proven ability to deliver creative solutions to complicated problems
