Part Time Engineering Intern

KCS Corporation is seeking a part time Engineering Intern, who will learn and support Civil/Structural Engineering Department. Will work approximately 20 hours per week throughout the year. The work schedule will be flexible and will be on-site in our Schaumburg offices.

KCS Corporation is seeking a part time Engineering Intern, who will learn and support Civil/Structural Engineering Department. Will work approximately 20 hours per week throughout the year. The work schedule will be flexible and will be on-site in our Schaumburg offices.
- Perform basic civil/structural engineering tasks, and prepare calculations & drawings under the guidance of a Design Engineer.
- Perform research and compile data for preparation of design calculations.
- Accompany Engineers on site visits if needed.
- Current enrollment in 3rd or 4th year of Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Must have completed courses in Engineering Drafting, Statics & Dynamics, Steel and Concrete design, and familiarity with ACI 318 and AISC Steel Manual
- Software Skills: AutoCAD, RISA 3D, MathCAD, and MS Office.
