Job Summary
Gateway Community and Technical College invites applications for the Part-Time position of Custodian / Maintenance Tech.
This part-time position will be responsible for routine maintenance, repairs, and cleanliness of all properties and grounds.
Job Duties :
- Perform general custodial duties utilizing basic equipment and supplies
- Clean assigned facility areas, remove waste,
- Complete daily cleaning of restrooms, classrooms, and offices based on schedule provided by supervisor.
- Grounds-keeping
- Maintain a safe, clean and pleasant atmosphere for students, faculty, and staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Highs School / GED
- 6 months related experience
- Ability to effectively communicate using auditory and visual methods, ability to distinguish colors, follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to pounds. Primarily use close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).
