KD Interiors, LLC, an award-winning interior design firm located in the Spring Branch/Bulverde area, currently has a position open for a part-time Interior Designer, with potential to transition into full-time. We are searching for someone who is creative, passionate about design, detail-oriented, enjoys people, dependable, and has strong client/vendor relations and communication skills. The right person for this position will have experience in custom home deco selections, and model home merchandising. This person will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and will be willing to roll up their sleeves to make an impact on our firm and our client's projects. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work on your own as well as work closely with the entire design team.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Interior planning and design
  • Client contact and presentations
  • Coordination with multiple disciplines, including clients, vendors and on-site construction personnel
  • Staging
  • Model home merchandising

Requirements:

  • Degree in Interior Design
  • Experience working in the home building industry

Computer skills required:

  • MS Office
  • General computer skills
  • AutoCAD (Preferred)

Abilities & Qualifications Desired:

  • Ability to read and interpret construction and interior design documents
  • Background in Interior Design
  • Knowledge of all aspects of Interior Design from inception to completion
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent people skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Detail Oriented
  • Dependable

Work Remotely

  • Yes. Your work will primarily be remote, however, you must be in the San Antonio area for design appointments and installs throughout the week.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
