Job Posting for Construction Project Manager at KDK Construction
KDK Construction is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team in American Fork, UT. This position is responsible for directing our project teams while developing a relationship with our clients, consultants, subcontractors, etc. The Project manager is to oversee all activities of the project including scheduling, contracts with subcontractors, compliance with project specifications and documents, staffing, and planning.
Key responsibilities include:
Oversee, evaluate, and manage project risk
Develops solutions to ensure issues never become problems
Mitigate risk whenever possible
Build strong relationships with the owner, suppliers, and subcontractors
Leads project teams in such a way to maximize the contributions of each team member
Review and fully understand all contract terms and obligations
Create and manage project schedule
Manages the RFI process in order to facilitate the timely exchange of information between designer and contractor
Oversee all change orders and ensure they happen in a timely fashion
Compile, send, and track all submittals
Maintain effective cost control mechanisms for the project
Complete project close out requirements in accordance with contract documents
Coordinates meeting agendas, and follow up on action items
Becomes familiar with safety requirements of the project and monitor compliance
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in construction management or other related field or equivalent work experience
Must have experience with PDF viewing software (e.g., Bluebeam)
Must be self-driven
Deadline and detail oriented
Effective communication skills
Restaurant experience preferred
10 years experience required
