The Reporting Associate is responsible for servicing annual unclaimed property reporting clients and ensuring they remain in compliance with each state’s statutes. This person also provides support within the Unclaimed Property Group by processing due diligence mailings, generating final reports for clients, and various other duties.
Duties: Include, but are not limited to the following:
Ensure client receives final state unclaimed property reports.
Provide timely and quality service for all client requests.
Import incoming client’s raw data into a database and run utilities to convert data for internal purposes. Also includes management and tracking of incoming data.
Analyzing client data by applying state dormancy periods and due diligence thresholds.
Working with various departments within Keane to ensure proper reporting procedures are followed.
Merge due diligence letters.
Prepare state required forms and electronic reports for final reporting.
Prepare and produce Unclaimed Property Reports.
Process incoming due diligence mail responses on a limited basis.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong PC skills required, including database functions, spreadsheet analysis and database reporting skills.
Proficiency in Excel.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Ability to analyze data and/or problems and efficiently find solutions.
Attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills are a must.
