POSITION SUMMARY
Provide leadership, overseeing and directing production activities to achieve departmental and plant business objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure productivity, efficiency, and quality standards are met daily
- Build a strongly motivated production team capable of constantly delivering high-quality products against aggressive production targets
- Interact with all support functions to ensure the smooth operation of production activities
- Respond to team associate concerns/issues promptly
- Take appropriate corrective action when substandard performance is observed
- Evaluate employee performance against pre-established standards by company policy
- Perform annual performance reviews per company policy
- Coach and counsel employees to encourage professional growth, as well as meet short and long-term goals
- Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices
- Ensure all employees adhere to safety guidelines stipulated in the Keeco Handbook
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, CDC, GMP, and other company safety and environmental policies and guidelines
Other projects as assigned by the manager
REQUIRED SKILLS OR EDUCATION
- Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Background in Lean Manufacturing and Concepts
- Background in utilizing Optimization of equipment efficiency
- Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
- Leader who challenges others around them to grow and perform their best
- Highly organized and able to multi-task effectively
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and mentor others.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate and listen to all levels of the organization.
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to perform all essential job functions and duties as assigned
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to adjust to changing priorities, work in varying facility conditions including hot temperatures, and work with minimal supervision
Salary : $250
