Front of House Manager
Keel Farms is searching for a Front of House Manager to join our growing team. A successful candidate for this position will have experience working in a fast-paced environment, be highly organized and pay close attention to details. The ideal candidate will also be highly motivated, able to communicate with customers on a regular basis, and possess a strong work ethic.
The Front of House Manager helps the Tasting Room Manager run our Tasting Room efficiently and effectively by taking on managerial tasks such as managing restaurant Front-of-house operations, overseeing employees, and providing customer service. They are the Tasting Room Manager’s right-hand-person and are able to act in the role of a manager in their absence.
- Report directly to the Tasting Room Manager
- Manage employees (scheduling, resolving employee issues, monitoring performance)
- Deliver excellent customer service in accordance to our Keel Farms values.
- Assist in hiring and training new and existing employees

We manufacture beer, wine, and cider and serve over 150,000 guests per year in our on-site tasting room. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Hire and train all Front of House staff.
- Develop and expand Training Programs, including on-site, video, and written training methods.
- Evaluate employees and identify weaknesses and strengths to correctly place employees.
- Lead, teach, onboard and evaluate new trainers
- Build quarterly and annual training program
- Oversee employee attendance and performance
- Maintain proper inventory on all Tasting Room supplies and products
- Manages staff, including bartenders, servers, and/or kitchen staff.
- Uses point-of-sale tracking technology and bar and restaurant management platforms.
