Dental Assistant with Front Office help as needed

Keen Family Dentistry, PC is a private dental office located in beautiful Rancho Cucamonga, CA. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is interested in making this their career to build and grow with our team.

The hours for the position are Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

This position is for Back Office primarily but we are looking for someone who is willing to assist in the Front Office when needed.

Applicant must be/have:

· Dental Assisting Background

· Knowledgeable of Dental terminology

· X-ray license

· Proficient in using a dental computer program (we use Dentrix)

· Friendly and reliable

· High level of integrity and ethics

· Multitask

· Detail oriented

· Excellent telephone skills

· Exceptional written skills

· Ability to work in a fast paced environment

· Courteous, punctual and reliable with a great work ethic

· Work well in a team setting

· Knowledgeable in dental billing

· Team player for all office activities

Duties include, but not limited to:

· Setting up treatment rooms

· Tool sterilization

· Assisting both Dr. Keen and Dr. Bryce

· Charting

· Keeping a full and productive schedule

· Verifying dental insurance eligibility and benefits

· Greeting and dismissing patients

· Confirming appointments

· Social media marketing

· Billing dental insurance

· Collecting and posting payments

· Making, filing and pulling charts

· Sending out monthly statements

· Coordinate front and back office

· Creating treatment plans and presenting to patients

· Maintaining a clean waiting area

If the candidate is not proficient in all or most of these areas but it motivated, quick to learn and a person that truly fits our team, we would love to take the time to train this individual if it is for the long term.

**Pay is determined with experience and may increase**

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff and patients are required to wear masks. Dr. Keen provides scrubs for all staff members to ensure whatever we are around at work does not go home with us at the end of the day.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Dental Assisting: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
