Open Orders Specialist

We are currently seeking an Open Orders Specialist. This role works alongside the Operations team to proactively track and manage customer orders. The helps to ensure our customers and partners derive value from our service mindset. Our goal is to provide everyone with unreasonably good service and be the best part for all that we serve.

• Proactively communicate current order statuses and set expectations of delivery dates for outstanding orders to the Account Management Team.
• Provide sales support for all order questions and follow up.
• Responsible for keeping the open sales orders delivery dates at consistently low volume of past due delivery dates.
• Ensure that vendors are clearly communicated with on open order requests.
• Ensure orders are proactively moved into shipping queues and participate in the process of adding tracking information to orders.
• Manage and maintain all communication needed between intercompany departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
• Take ownership and responsibility for your own workload and help other teammates out when needed.

• 1 years of professional experience
• Have basic PC skills and some experience with Google Apps and Microsoft Office
• Willingness and ability to solve problems with an open mind.
• Understanding of what it takes to deliver on a promise of unreasonably good service.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines `
• Ability to deal effectively with a variety of individuals at all organizational levels
• Versatile and flexible with a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with positive enthusiasm.
