Kimball Medical Solutions is a Medical Device Contract Manufacturer in Indianapolis, IN. This is an onsite position that will report directly to the Metrology Team Lead. Position Overview You have the awesome responsibility to continuously improve maintenance and calibration performance, support or enhance existing manufacturing processes, achieve and maintain top tier preventative and calibration capabilities while meeting goals of quality, cost and delivery for our customers. You will focus on iQMS system data improvements in conjunction with production support activities. Reporting on calibration metrics and managing OOT initiations and tracking while coordinating with planning to ensure less impact on production when calibrations are scheduled. Basic Background Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering Technology and/or equivalent experience. 2 years’ experience of Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals or Medical Device Industry. Compose professional documentation (Create PowerPoint, Excel data sets, etc.). Managing time and projects effectively while setting and meeting aggressive schedules. Understanding business, legal and regulatory requirements with the ability to learn regulatory requirements, FDA 21 CFR 820/GMP Medical Device Regulations. Key Performance Objectives Short Term: (0 to 3 months) Learn about Kimball Vision and Guiding Principles. Learn the KEI systems to understand and communicate to all levels of the organization. Begin documenting and developing standardized data for calibration and maintenance module fields and records. Midterm: (3 to 6 months) Create technical documents and records to support our maintenance and calibration processes. Maintain documentation in support of FDA regulatory requirements. Trend data, define issues, help with root cause analysis, and take actions to improve processes. Long Term: 6-12 months Participate in Lean manufacturing trainings and projects.
