DESCRIPTION

Program Directors are responsible for leveraging their expertise to develop, maintain and deliver education services to students through:

Creating and Maintaining core curriculum across the institution

Communicating and monitoring delivery of core curriculum

Preparing course plans and material

Delivering courses

Monitoring progress/attendance

Advising students

Recording grades and submitting reports

We are particularly interested to receive applications from individuals with experience engaging undergraduate students and who demonstrate commitment to preparing undergraduates for professional training/graduate school through experiential learning, especially undergraduate research. The ideal candidate will have experience mentoring faculty in evidence-based best practices in teaching and learning. Must have at least a Masters and 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline or related field(s).

Teaching assignments for this position may include courses in Anatomy & Physiology, Biology of Cancer, Medical Terminology, or other courses in the candidate's field of study.
