Job Posting for Special Event Production Manager at Keith Watson Productions, Inc.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, solution-oriented, and resourceful, working primarily with the sales and operations teams to realize the vision of our clients' events. We are a creative and design-oriented event production company, so an eye for aesthetics and high attention to detail is expected. Experience in event production and/or stagecraft is desired.
Duties:
Lead setup and strike of event décor and rentals.
Act as on-site supervision and direction of production crew.
Utilize computer software to organize event materials, logistics, and schedule.
Work in tandem with Event Designers and Coordinators to achieve practical, safe, and effective installations.
Drive and operate lift-gated trucks (must have a valid driver’s license).
Assists in organizing warehouse materials and maintaining inventory.
Assist in prop and set piece design and construction as needed.
Work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends as needed. Paid compensatory time off is available as accrued during busy seasons
All other duties as assigned for the execution of events and business operation.
Working conditions:
May be exposed to high heat/humidity, noise and physical work--Moderate lifting, pulling, pushing of heavy loads is frequently required.
Frequent use of ladders and hand tools.
May be frequently assigned to changing priorities, requiring rapid problem-solving.
