HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING


  • Unlock Insights Through Data & Analytics – Knowing your business is imperative to driving business results. You will be responsible for supporting Category Management activities with the customer and will help to identify business insights leveraging robust analytics of the category, consumer, shopper, market and customer information. As you develop compelling and profitable business building recommendations, influencing the customers’ decision-making process using fact-based, clearly communicated solutions will be mutually beneficial.
  • Bring Occasion-Based Category Vision to Life – This position will involve internal and external customer interaction. As a trusted business consultant, you will assist in delivering objective category reviews and strategies that strive to achieve mutually beneficial sales and market share goals. You will prepare the team for customer calls and promote a customer-centered culture that strives to exceed customer needs, requirements, and expectations.
  • Build Fact-Based, Measurable and Holistic Plans – Your project management skills will be key in supporting strategic customer specific initiatives designed to deliver category growth. You will support the presentation of projects around product and placement, leveraging tools and resources to identify solutions addressing the shopper problem to solve. Finally, executional plans – seeing an initiative completed as planned is a driver to success.


YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS


  • Industry experience (i.e. Category Management, Shopper/Consumer Insights and/or sales experience) – ideally Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG)
  • Proficiency in using syndicated data (i.e. Nielsen, IRI), loyalty card data and shopper panel metrics. Proficiency in JDA, Apollo or Spaceman space planning software.
  • Nimble ability to assimilate and interpret large amounts of data from multiple disparate data sources into concise action-oriented recommendations
  • Ability to draw conclusions, address key opportunities, understand and apply market research tools to create selling stories
  • Exposure to negotiating and influencing the decision-making process through communication to large groups or high-level constituents/representatives of an organization with differing knowledge levels, communicating solutions that are mutually beneficial to the category and Kellogg.
  • Strong presentation, time management, organizational, interpersonal skills, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Motor vehicle history with 2 or less moving violations within the last 36 months.
  • HS Diploma required; BA/BS Degree preferred.
