Kelly Services is partnering with a premier employer in Elgin, IL to hire entry level Assemblers! Our client is a global leader in public safety and telecommunications equipment and serves more than 100,000 public safety and commercial customers in more than 100 countries.
Details:
- 1st (6am-2:15pm) and 2nd shift (2:45pm – 11pm) available!
- Pay: 1st shift $16.00/hour - 2nd shift $17.50/hour
- Other positions available $16.00-$20.50 Depending on experience
What’s a typical day as an Electronic Parts Assembler?
- Assembly of 2-way radios and other electronic equipment. There are multiple roles in the assembly process and each contractor will be cross-trained across different departments.
- Examples of possible roles assigned: attaching labels; components assembly; final assembly; inspection and testing each unit for quality and performance.
- Tracking parts and finished product using computer tracking system.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have any previous assembly experience. (no experience is required, and training is provided.)
- Can work a flexible schedule, some overtime is required, some reduced work is mandated.
- Can lift up to 35 lbs. unassisted, and are able to stand on your feet for an 8-hour shift.
