Assembly Associate

Position Overview:

• This role will be responsible for assembly of lights, batteries, and accessories, testing of batteries and lights, and installing the headlights on loupes.

Work Schedule and Pay Rate:

• 2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm, Monday - Friday
• $19.00 per hour

Essential Responsibilities:

• Use hand tools, screwdrivers, soldering iron, curing wands, pliers
• Read and understand production documentation
• Assemble and test batteries
• Understand and build to quality metrics
• Install headlights on loupes
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Skills:

• Soldering
• Able to work with small parts
• Able to work in a team environment
• Experience using hand tools

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret Standard Operating Procedures
• Speak, read, and write English
• Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs frequently
• Ability to work overtime during week and weekends as needed
• Able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs

The Opportunity:

Initially starting as a Technician, you may have the opportunity to become a Technician II, Sr. Technician, Lead Technician or Supervisor. Work comfortably at a medical device manufacturer in our state-of-the-art climate controlled Global Headquarters in beautiful Madison, Wisconsin near the airport.
