- Pay Rate: $17.75 per hour
- Hours: 2nd Shift 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM Monday-Thursday 1:00 PM-9:30 PM Friday
What’s a typical day as an Assembly Line Worker? You’ll be:
- Responsible for performing manual and machine supported tasks to fill, inspect, assemble, cap, freeze, label, and/or package products.
- Manually fills and/or operates filling equipment for type of product and sizes of containers specified. Assembles components in proper sequence using appropriate devices/equipment.
- Visually inspects assemblies/mix freeze for proper fit of components, operates test jigs, and/or records readings of results. Labels tubes, or containers, applies labels to boxes, cans, pails, etc.
- Operates label application equipment, as required. Puts packaged product into boxes, seals boxes by manually applying tape or operating a taping machine.
- Places filled cartridges or caps in a cryogenic medium, as required.
- Accurately calculates number of tubes and/or material required for each order and performs basic calculations to ensure appropriate ratio of material available or required to complete work orders per instruction.
- Lifts filled boxes of components from stand; places boxes on pallets and/or stacks in assigned area. Perform 100% quality check on each tube filled during the button board process.
- Participates in 5S activities.
- Complies with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements and procedures at all times. Performs other tasks as assigned
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Production or warehouse experience required
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs on a consistent basis
- Safety glasses and steel toes are required
