Kelly Services is partnering with a Customer in Streetsboro, OH. We have immediate openings for Assembly Technicians!

Wage: 1st Shift $15.00/hr | 2nd & 3rd Shift $16.00/hr

Schedule:

1st Shift Mon - Thurs 5am - 3pm or 7am - 5pm, Fri 7am - 3pm

2nd Shift Mon - Thurs 1pm - 11pm or 3pm - 1am, Fri 3pm -1 11pm

3rd Shift Sun 11pm - 7am, Mon - Thurs 9pm - 7am or 11pm - 9am

Location: Streetsboro, Ohio

Job Description:

Performs repetitive assembly operations. Assembles components, subassemblies, products or systems by performing the following duties:

• Read work orders, follow production drawings and sample assemblies or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.

• Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture or other holding device.

• Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cements, press fits or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.

• Mounts assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets on chassis panel.

• Connects component lead wires to printed circuit or routes and connects wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and tact points.

• Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in case and cabinets.

• Assembles and attaches hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches to assemblies.

• Performs intermediate assembly tasks, such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curi stamping, etching, impregnating and color-coding parts and assemblies.

• Tends machines that press, shape or wind component parts

• Adjusts or trims materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics.

• Performs online quality inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience: Must have HS Diploma or GED, 6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical demands: In most work areas, employees can stand or sit. Must be able to talk, hear, will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch.
