What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cage Wash Technician position at Kelly?
As a Cage Wash Technician, you’ll perform cleaning, sanitization, and maintenance of animal cage materials.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Sanitizing all animal cage equipment
- Disposing of all waste materials in a safe manner,
- Maintain the cleaning area in a neat and well-organized manner.
- Perform Cage Changes as needed
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- H.S Diploma/GED (BA/BS in a life science field also considered)
- Looking for long term work (Temp-to-hire)
- Dependable with a track record of good attendance and punctuality, including having reliable transportation.
- Comfortable with the physical requirements of the job including standing, walking, bending, stopping, and lifting to 25lbs on occasion for the duration of an 8-10hr shift.
- Previous experience caring for animals a plus but not required!
- Must be comfortable working around and handling rodents.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30AM- 4:30PM (Occasional work on weekends and Holidays should be expected)
Pay: $22-24/hr DOE
