Let’s figure out what’s next together. If you ask us, this job looks pretty great. Kelly® Professional & Industrial is looking for a Compounder to work at a fast growing, dynamic food manufacturer in Commerce, CA. Sound good? Take a closer look below.

Shifts and Pay Rate:

• 1st – Monday-Friday, 5am-1:30pm (OT as needed), $20.00
• 2nd – Monday-Friday, 1:30pm-9:30pm (OT as needed), $20.50
  • Must be available to train on 1st shift if needed

What’s a typical day as a Compounder? You’ll:

• Compound formulas accurately by weight and by ingredients and ensure that the best methodology is utilized based upon the particular product or mix in CMS and document the steps that they follow using their computer in SAP.
• Possess and apply working knowledge of all raw materials before use, ie: mixing/heating to ensure quality and consistency in batches.
• Utilize inventory lot rotation (FIFO) for all materials used.
• Possess and apply working knowledge of all pumps, mixers, scales, fork trucks, high density storage units, meters, and computers and homogenizers.
• Possess and apply working knowledge of all ribbon blenders, co-mills, sifters , mixers, scales, fork trucks, high density storage units, meters and computers.
• Follow all quality assurance instructions on formulas using proper compounding techniques to ensure quality samples.
• Properly label all batches submitted to the lab for evaluation.

Minimum Qualification

• Heavy Lifting – Lift up to 50 Lbs. repetitively – required
• High School Diploma or Equivalent – required
• 1 Years of Food Manufacturing Experience - required
• Proficiency in compounding techniques and raw materials - preferred
• Forklift experience - certification not required
