Fully onsite for the first 2 weeks and then 3 days in office, 2 days WFH
Pay Rate: $35.00- 40.00 per hour
Candidate will fulfill a critical role in Company’s Procurement function. The Procurement-department position will work with Company’s all areas to increase the value provided by suppliers by performing contract administration.
SUMMARY
This position is responsible for participating in and supporting business-critical initiatives. These initiatives may include the execution of simple contracts, change management processes, and tracking contract compliance according to a structured framework. i.e. small-dollar Statements of Work (SOWs), amendments, processing 30 to 50 contracts per month. Most of these contracting efforts will be in the professional advisory services category.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Knowledge of Statements of Work (SOW) templates and ability to redline contract documents
2. Alignment of Company’s business expectations with deliverables
3. Use of tools and templates for reporting contracting status and compliance
4. Work with Company’s leadership to provide “quick resolution”
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor’s degree with two-year’s experience in financial analysis, business, supply chain, Information Technology (IT), or related fields
2. Ability to quickly learn new tools and processes
3. Function in ambiguous and/or time-sensitive situations
4. PC skills and power-user with Microsoft Office, particularly the redlining of Word Documents
5. Verbal and written communication skills to include correct grammar, clear, concise, and appropriate word choice and tone
6. Listening and interpersonal skills
7. Experience working in teams
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
1. Outsourcing experience and/or sourcing experience, including the use of electronic sourcing tools: Oracle, Zycus Contract Tracking and DocuSign
2. Project management experience
