What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Scientist position at Kelly?
Position title: Data Scientist - A/B Testing
Location: This position will be majority remote. Preferred time zone is Central or Eastern (100% REMOTE)
Hours/Work Schedule: - 8AM to 5PM Central Time
Length of contract: Long-term contract
Years of experience (minimum/maximum): 3 years of Data Scientist experience
Required education: Bachelor’s in Mathematics
Top Must-Haves: Statistical Analysis, A/B Testing, PowerPoint
- Designs and measures A/B tests using software provider, Applied Predictive Technologies (APT)
- Experience with APT software a plus, but not required
- Advises business stakeholders on appropriate test design and risk considerations
- Prepares detailed test results and interpretations including any risks or omissions
- Presents findings and results of A/B tests to business owners and governance council
- Maintains a roadmap of upcoming A/B tests and updates it on a regular basis based on changing priorities
- Self-manages testing timelines and deliverables
- Performs QA on own work and reviews with senior level data scientists
- Works closely with APT to keep up with upgrades and new functionality
- Creates basic level SQL and Python code for data querying and preparation
- Performs data analysis to provide insights related to A/B tests and general business questions
