This role oversees DEA compliance across the site, manages controlled substance movements, liaises with regulatory agencies, and ensures adherence to all relevant regulations and registrations.

Contract to Hire
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all DEA-related activities, including inventory management, ARCOS reporting, and controlled substance destruction
- Coordinate with Procurement and DEA on import/export procedures and paperwork
- Maintain compliance with DEA, State, and Board of Pharmacy registrations
- Manage security system upgrades in collaboration with the Security department
- Handle DEA 222 forms and CII quota submissions
- Prepare and update SOPs related to controlled substances; train internal staff on SOPs
- Prepare and route Master Files (MFs) and Master Production Records (MPRs) for R&D and commercial products
- Maintain documentation and databases, and publish reports as required
- Participate in departmental initiatives and represent the department at project meetings as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or related industry
- Strong knowledge of DEA and FDA regulations, GMP guidelines, and production planning processes
