Quality Control Technician I (QC Tech I) - Tualatin
The Quality Control Technician I is responsible for performing acceptance activities for incoming materials, in-process product inspection, and final inspection of finished goods.

- Monday - Friday
- First shift (flexible start time between 4am – 8am)
- Temp-to-Hire
- $20-$22/hr
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and/or test incoming materials by conducting visual inspections or measurement tests.
- Perform in-process and final product inspection.
- Utilize inspection equipment including but not limited to: optical comparator, tensile testing equipment, calipers, scales, rulers, and go-no go gauges.
- Review incoming documentation from suppliers.
- Perform inspections of labeling, packaging, and manufacturing documentation.
- Document, log, and maintain inspection results.
- Maintain segregation of incoming, conforming, and non-conforming materials.
- Work directly with Shipping and Receiving to coordinate movement of materials into and out of QC and testing areas.
- Comply with established quality, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Experience working in a regulated industry and/or a degree in a related field a plus.
- Basic math and computer skills including MS Excel, MS Word, and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to effectively communicate.
- Able to use inspection, test and measurement equipment with accuracy and precision.
- Ability to follow instructions and understand inspection plans.
- Must have excellent attention to detail to identify defects or deviations from established specifications.
- Possess an understanding of measurement tolerances and ability to determine inspection or test sample size.
- Ability to stand, sit, and conduct repetitive movement for long periods at a time.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. periodically and 25 lbs. routinely.
- Preferred: Experience using inspection, measurement, and test equipment such as calipers, scales, and tensile testers is a plus.
