Location: Onsite (May transition to hybrid at business' discretion)
Salary Range: $30-$50 per hour depending on experience

Job Title: Financial Analyst - Pension and Benefits Trust Accountant

Equipment
- Onsite: Desktop and monitor will be issued.
- Hybrid: Candidate must have their own equipment or supplier issued.
- Develop reconciliations and coordinate Pension and Benefit Trusts.
- Utilize large data points to prepare, control, and report.
- Prepare monthly journal entries related to retirement benefits and complete corresponding monthly reconciliations.
- Provide information and coordinate/support analysis for audits including ERISA audits, statistical analysis for prior years' financial statements, 5500 preparation, SAR, 990T.
- Support and control Retiree/LTD/life insurance census for outside actuaries.
- Ensure the accuracy of records by reconciling internal and external Pension Plans and Trust activity.
- Develop and maintain a database on Medicare D Drug Subsidy.
- Required:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 4 years of accounting experience.
- Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to see projects through completion
