Financial Analyst

Kelly Services is seeking a Financial Analyst for one of its top clients in Torrance CA. This Position supports the ongoing financial reporting and analysis activities of the Credit Union.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for presenting and interpreting models in support of strategic planning, annual budget, product pricing, asset liability management and investment activity.
• Support the Accounting team with various reconcilements as well as HR Benefits billings.
• Works closely with the Analyst Team to support and cross-train on critical responsibilities.
• Roles and Responsibilities:
• Work with Management Team aiding in various projects, monthly reports, and product pricing
• Develop Credit Unions business plan projections
• Aid accounting team on various projects, reconcilements, and benefits billings
• Utilize technical and analytical skills to identify correlations between various groups of complex financial data

Daily Tasks:

• Ability to import, organize, mine and present data accurately and effectively.
• File types may include but not limit to txt, csv, and excel.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while constantly re-prioritizing and satisfying performance benchmarks and deadlines.
• Generate, review, and distribute routine and ad-hoc reporting requirements and requests.

Top 3 Required Skills:

• Candidate should be a self-starter and team player with strong collaboration skills
• Computer/Technical skills - Incumbent must be able to execute basic organizational functions, including importing files from the above-mentioned formats into Excel, ability to parse and concatenate data, ease in using basic analytical functions, toggle between formula and value, pasting as values only, insert filters, and create header/footers. Ability to display data in concise, clear, well-thought-out format.
