Formulation Chemist

Location: Bristol, PA

Division: Research and Innovation Center- Home and Personal Care

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborating with a senior scientist to develop novel base formulations aimed at achieving long-lasting cleansing of hard surfaces.
• Preparing formulations and conducting application tests on various treated substrates (polymeric, stainless steel, ceramic) to assess cleaning performance and film appearance, following standardized protocols.
• Planning and executing experiments, conducting stability tests, setting project milestones, and driving projects to completion while creating clear charts and tables to represent outcomes.
• Summarizing experimental results, discussing conclusions with the project team, and preparing technical reports.
• Maintaining laboratory housekeeping and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Education & Experience:

You Will Bring

• A bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field with chemistry experience, or a master’s degree in chemistry
• Experience in homecare formulations is a plus.
• A genuine interest in laboratory work (70% lab, 20% lab reports, 10% lab upkeep)
• Proactive and autonomous work ethic with an open-minded approach.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Proficiency in PC and relevant software applications, ELN is a plus
