Kelly Services is looking for an HR Assistant for an avionics company in Coral Gables, FL.
M-F: 9am-6pm Temp to Hire
Pay Rate: $18 based on experience
Bilingual in English & Spanish
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Assistant primary responsibility is to support the day to day administration of the Human Resources department and assist with employee inquiries in a timely manner.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides information and counseling to employees regarding company policies and benefits
- Responsible for employee records management including employee profiles in HRIS and carrier portals
- Communicate new hire and termination notices to IT Help Desk
- Interface with benefit carriers to resolve basic employee claim issues
- Reconcile invoicing from temporary agencies on a weekly/monthly basis
- Create PAF’s and communicate changes to payroll
- Assist with verifications of employment
- Assist with the coordination of Human Resource programs (wellness events, open enrollment)
- Post jobs on employment boards and assist with recruitment efforts
- Generate reports as needed (Headcount, Census)
JOB SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Interact effectively with employees at all organizational levels
- Able to maintain an appropriate level of confidentiality
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred
- 2-3 years of experience working in Human Resources
- Prior experience with an HRIS preferred
