Inventory Analyst

Kelly is assisting a local client recruiting for Inventory Analyst job in Neenah WI for a global manufacturer of essential products that has been in business for 150 years. This opportunity is a hybrid Role - onsite 2-3 days (usually Tuesday to Thursday) but flexible. Ideal to have time with team given scope of position. Potential (not guaranteed) role will extend or become FTE in future.

Inventory Analyst will provide system expertise and direction to Contract Manufacturers (CMs). Primary functions will include assisting with SAP transactions related to shipping, receiving, production, cycle counts, damaged goods, discrepancies, as well as problem solving inaccuracies. Serve as inventory control leader for materials and finished goods. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of inventory movements and manage physical inventory counts, including Internal Control audits.

Pay: $26/hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm

What a typical day as an Inventory Analyst looks like:

• Ensure accuracy of SAP inventory at 10-12 CM locations to help drive effective inventory related business decisions. Monitor conformance to procedures by auditing inventory transactions to ensure that transactions occur in a timely and accurate manner. Implement corrective action when needed.
• Will work with external companies (about 60) to make sure SAP matches inventories received, what's invoiced, etc. and work to resolve discrepancies. SAP experience strongly desired. Must be detail oriented, able to "dig into weeds" to identify issues, and be diligent following up with external companies.
• Be the first point of contact for system and process issues at CMs when they need help processing or correcting an entry in SAP
• Assist with getting disposition for damaged or aged materials at CM locations
• Work with CMs and Procurement/Accounts Payable to resolve invoicing discrepancies
• Manage and facilitate annual finished good counts, and regular raw material cycle counts at sites to ensure inventory accuracy (typically managed remotely). Reconcile inventory transactions and engage site leadership in issue resolutions and implementation of process improvements.

• Efficiently train, guide, and monitor External Manufacturers in the use of K-C¿s SAP system.
• Build strong sustainable business relationships at various levels throughout organization and influence action without authority.
• Proactively identify problems and work with sites to mitigate discrepancies and adjustments.
• Perform data analysis to assist in BOM updates and inventory tracking reports

You should meet the following qualifications to be considered for an Inventory Analyst job:

• Experience in working in ERP systems such as SAP, as well as Microsoft Excel.
• A broad supply chain understanding, including Procurement, Planning, Distribution, and Inventory Control is beneficial
• Demonstrated ability to perform in a team environment.
• Strong oral and written communication, with the drive to escalate and follow up on issues that aren’t resolved in a timely manner
