What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laboratory Technician position at Kelly?
Kelly Services is currently seeking a Laboratory Technician to work onsite with a global scientific instrumentation company in Florence SC.
Duration: 1 year
Pay rate: $17 per hour
This position plays a key role in providing Facility Services support to the site. Candidate maintains laboratories and offices in a cGMP manufacturing facility. Provides support to site improvement, and special projects. Ensures facility activities adhere to quality systems standards. Keeps the facility in a state of inspection readiness at all times. Interacts with building occupants to resolve calls for hot/cold, plumbing, leak, noise, odor, fire system issues, and much more. Ability to execute facility related capital projects, coordinate small tenant improvement and contractor management
- Keeps all facilities equipment and utilities in compliance with regulatory standards and in good working order.
- Review and understand equipment and methods of operation, BMS system, fire/life safety, and other systems
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems
- Maintain, operate all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management system, and building repairs
- Perform facility inspections and report on condition affecting operations
- The ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required
- Locates and diagnoses failures, replaces defective components and performs basic troubleshooting using hand & power tools, test equipment, mathematics, operating manuals, specifications, prints, and verbal and/or written instructions
