Land Surveyor
Location: Chesterfield, MO

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to understand survey requirements and project objectives.
- Perform fieldwork using various surveying instruments, such as total stations, GPS equipment, and data collectors.
- Conduct boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, and construction staking as needed.
- Collect and analyze survey data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Utilize AutoCAD and survey-specific software to process and prepare survey data.
- Prepare survey plats, maps, and other documentation for project deliverables.
- Interpret legal descriptions and land records to accurately establish property boundaries.
- Ensure compliance with surveying standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and project stakeholders.
- Participate in project meetings to provide input and support to project teams.
- Assist in mentoring and guiding junior surveying staff as needed.
- Bachelor degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience as a Land Surveyor is a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS, and data collectors.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and survey-specific software for data processing.
- Strong understanding of surveying principles, boundary determination, and legal descriptions.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in survey data collection and documentation.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving skills and adaptability to various surveying challenges.
- Knowledge of local and state surveying regulations and standards.
