Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Worker/Housekeeper to join our team. As a Laundry Tech, you will be responsible for folding and processing clean linens, operating automated machinery, and ensuring the efficient workflow of our laundry operations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a constant flow of linens and delivering high-quality service to our clients. This position does not involve working with soiled linens, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

You will play a crucial role in maintaining a constant flow of linens and delivering high-quality service to our clients. This position does not involve working with soiled linens, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
Job Specifications
- Job Type: Full-time
- Location: Rapid City, SD
- Pay Rate: 15.92
- Shift: 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Operate the Milnor Tunnel Washer CBW, press, and dryer system
- Load the conveyor system with the proper type and weight of soiled linens
- Assist and rotate with coworkers to maintain an efficient workflow
- Learn and run the computer billing and requisition program
- Operate the spreader, iron, and folder, ensuring proper operation
- Start up the CBW in the morning and shut it down following proper procedures on a rotating basis
- Pre-sort all linens in a timely manner upon receipt
- Maintain a constant flow of linens to the CBW
- Check computer screens and troubleshoot error messages when necessary
- Start up and shut down the spreader, iron, and folder at the end of each shift
- Coordinate with coworkers/supervisor/technician II to meet special requests and scheduled deliveries
- Fill outside orders correctly and neatly, completing necessary paperwork
- Post-sort and fold clean tumble-dried linen to prevent excessive wrinkles
- Communicate delays to the main hospital and outside accounts
- Perform any other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma/GED equivalent in General Studies preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
- Ability to operate laundry machinery and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with machinery
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift heavy loads as required
