Are you looking for a fantastic opportunity in the world of Logistics? Kelly is looking for a talented Logistics Coordinator for a leading Technical Manufacturer in Billerica, MA. This is a Direct Hire role with a starting salary of $55,000 - $75,000 based on experience. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will coordinate internal and external logistics for an integral and global leader. International shipping knowledge is highly preferred for this role!
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Gathering and compiling critical data into spreadsheets
- Input data into Automated Export System (AES) to generate shipping documentation for compliance with US export regulations
- Provide a variety of logistics coordination while partnering with internal and external customers
- Partner with purchasing to acquire materials needed for sub-contract companies and spare parts or consumable items
- Follow up on status of invoices to determine delivery dates and material availability
- Planning and communicating with manufacturing planners to advise on readiness of materials in status of build schedule
- Order Entry using MRP system to gather information on customer orders
- Coordinate with Shipping for the movement of materials between internal and external customers
- Confirm shipment processing and clearing for invoice generation and file records for retention
Skills and Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required (Associates’ degree preferred)
- 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing or distribution logistics administration preferred
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Excel
- Strong organizational and collaborative skills with attention to detail
- Prior experience with MRP systems (SAP experience preferred)
- Ability to multi-task, take initiative, work independently, and use creative problem-solving skills
- Customs license preferred but not required
