Job Title:Material Data Management Analyst (IS Business Support Analyst)
Location: Portage, MI, 49002 (Hybrid) (3 days office and 2days WFH)
Type:ONLY on W2 contract (NO C2C)
Length:12 months
Pay Rate -$36 to $39 per hour

Position will function as a Power User in the Master Data Governance (MDG) application within SAP and will drive data governance, data ownership, and data quality assurance while working with teams in Engineering, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, and IT. You will execute a structured approach to the collection, creation, and maintenance of material master data. You will also be responsible for administrative work such as troubleshooting, issue resolution, as well as clearly communicating with both the business and IT teams to successfully leverage best practices and enhance system capabilities.

- Manage data requests in support of business processes
- Approve and validate change requests to ensure accurate data entry of item master data attributes within the SAP MDG application
- Drive excellence and continuous improvement in quality of data through cleansing and data construction
- Develop competency in the material master application of SAP
- Monitor and improve data quality through cleansing and data construction
- Provide input to the development of MDM data collection templates
- Manage relationships with data steward resources within other teams to ensure clear understanding of organizational requirements that are managed in coordination with MDM
- Serve as a business contact for material master related topics while identifying solutions to Business challenges
- Identify opportunities to gain efficiencies, automate, and improve data quality
- Partner with other SAP power users across global community to identify and resolve data gaps and issues with SAP functionality through hands-on testing
- Daily responsibilities may include New Product Development, Sustainment activities as well as
- Mergers & Acquisitions relating to material setup
- Develops an understanding of processes and operational procedures within the commercial business to assist in decision making
- Assists with the testing and delivery of solutions for release cycles and/or new projects
- Develop and maintain relationships with business and IS resources to improve data management processes as well as collaborate on system enhancements and reported incidents
- Responsible for timely and accurate delivery of results to our customers
- Ensures compliance with all regulatory and compliance activities within prescribed area
