Job Title : Material Handler

Location : South Elgin, IL
Pay rate : $17.75, $19.10.
Shift / Schedule :
- 1st shift 9 : 00am-7 : 30-pm. Monday,Tuesday,Thursday,and Friday
- 2nd Shift 5 : 00pm- 2 : 00am. Wednesday-Saturday
Overview
The Material Handler is an entry level role responsible Unload with manual pallet jack and / or dolly Wayfair products such as tables, chairs desks, pictures etc.
Will use shrink wrap to put together bundles to be ready to ship.
Job Duties
- Inspect, sort, store and perform data entry for all core, inbound part / unit shipments, and returned goods.According to established TS procedures.
- As needed, transfer stock physically and electronically using computer and / or RF guns.
- Pick and pack customer orders by unit / parts according to order notes.
- Weight, route, stage, and load freight according to order notes and carrier shipping instructions.
- Support safety and good housekeeping in this performance of Distribution Center duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification
- Hs Diploma
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work on a team.
- Ability to follow instructions with accuracy.
- Previous distribution / warehouse experience.
