What’s a typical day as an Occ Health Front Desk Office Professional? You will be:

  • Manage the patient scheduling and reception function - answering the phone, scheduling patient appointments in electronic medical record system, and ensuring appropriate medical forms and documents are prepared for individual patients as needed for the type of patient encounter.
  • Work with clinical staff to ensure smooth workflow by managing waiting lists/cancellations and ensuring that patient schedules are maximized to meet clinical staff availability.
  • Manage patient discharge process, reception and waiting room.
  • Ensure medical records are promptly filed and any required data can be extracted accurately.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Are proficient in MS Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Great attention to detail and work well in a TEAM environment.
