JOB PURPOSE: Perform inventory transactions and prepping as required by manufacturing processes.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Perform inventory transactions.
2. Pull jobs and parts for open job orders.
3. Perform kitting / prepping as required by manufacturing processes.
4. Prep parts in accordance with prepping manuals and MWI.
5. Perform general operation and setup of equipment.
6. Perform general preventative maintenance and calibrations.
7. Maintain equipment log.
8. Communicate team issues to the Production Supervisor, assist in resolving issues and providing support to the team. Provide feedback and address challenges in a respectful manner.
9. Maintain a safe and clean work area. Understand and apply 5S principles.

REQUIRED EDUCATION: High School Education or equivalent

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Manufacturing or assembly experience

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for an 8-hour shift and to push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift

2. Must be highly motivated, self-starter, and work with little or no supervision

3. Demonstrated computer skills required, including field input and transmission requirements and understanding of daily reports

4. Demonstrated verbal and written communication and teamwork skills

5. Must be able to apply quality control techniques.

6. Must be able to read, interpret, and follow work instructions (MWI, SOP, etc.)

7. Experience with productivity, quality, and safety and environmental language and goal

8. Demonstrated hand tool knowledge and operation

9. Must be capable of distinguishing part and quantity numbers

10. Capable of operating JLG Stock Picker and working at heights of up to 10 feet off the ground
