What’s a typical day as a Packaging Supervisor? You’ll be :
- Coordinating activities in the packaging area on each shift to produce finished products at target specifications in a food safe environment.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and Union Agreement
- Supervising packaging area employees and directing their activities to provide the best support during each shift.
- Maximizing operational efficiencies and ensuring the safety of all employees
- Implementing process / productivity improvements to enhance safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Training employees on equipment operation, record keeping, and other necessary activities.
- Maintaining finished product quality, food safety, and overall sanitation procedures and practices
This job might be an outstanding fit if you :
- Have at least 1 year of supervisory experience
- Possess a Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- Are available for a 2-2-3 (Panama) schedule, including rotating weekends. Week 1 : Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday Week 2 : Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
