Kelly Technology has an opening for a PERMANENT Scrum Master to work with our cline in either San Jose, Ca or Rocklin, CA.

SUMMARY
- The Senior Scrum Master independently oversees the scrum team activities to deliver on committed large and complex project plans.
JOB DUTIES
- Develop a release or project plan based on scrum team capacity and velocity
- Manage the scrum team activities to deliver on committed project plans
- Proactively identify risks towards meeting objectives and escalate these to project and product manager
- Serve as a liaison between individual scrum team members and dependent teams including third party vendors Plan for and work flexibly to deadlines, understand, and communicate the product owner’s vision and objectives to the team, provide perspective and keep the team focused on critical deliverables and tasks
- Use multiple techniques to effectively manage the backlog and sprint tasks with individuals
- Facilitate standard Scrum events such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, retrospectives
- Facilitate the deployment of code to staging and production environment, present change control documentation to security and other review teams for approval
- Ensure software development best practices are followed, such as test case and code reviews
- Develop comprehensive dashboards and reports to communicate the status of scrum team’s development and QA activities and dependencies
- Understand the software development process to correctly sequence requirements collection, design, API development, front-end development, product deployment, etc.
- Mentor team on Agile and scrum methodologies including the proper way to write and break down epics and stories
- Recognize and remove team impediments
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Business Administration or equivalent work experience
- Certification/License: PMI-ACP and/or Scrum Master Certification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager leading Agile Teams
- Demonstrated effective time management and prioritization skills including the ability to work independently or in a team environment handling multiple scrum teams
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
- Strong business communication skills; able to write/speak clearly and professionally for a variety of audiences
- Ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Solid knowledge of project life cycle, SDLC, and change management principles
- Hands on expertise with Jira and Confluence or similar tools
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
