Title: Flexo Graphic Printing Operator (Printing Press Operator)
Location: Mansfield, MA
Shift: Mon-Fri 6:30am-2:30pm
Pay Rate: $22-$24/hour (Depending on Experience)
Terms of Employment: Direct-Hire
Responsibilities:
Setup and operate printing press machine to print designs or lettering on rolls according to job order following company specifications and procedures.
Mounts specified rubber plate and printing dies on cylinder, installs cylinder on shaft, and secures assembly in bed of press.
Fills dye fonts with prescribed inks or dyes Starts press, adjusting speed, tension, and alignment of printing plate as necessary.
Cleans rubber plate, cylinder, and dye fonts, using solvent, and lubricates press as needed, using grease gun.
May operate press equipped with laminator attachment to print and laminate polyethylene or cellophane sheeting.
Perform in-process inspections of products throughout production run and assure they meet standards.
Monitors production efficiency; addresses line stoppage and initiates immediate problem solving to correct the cause.

Requirements
High School Degree, GED or equivalent.
3 years experience running press equipment and mechanical problem solving.
Strong critical thinking, problem solving and mechanical skills.
Ability to troubleshoot problems and solve in a timely manner Work well with others and independently.
Computer skills with Microsoft Word and Excel and Outlook email.
