Production Associate Needed

Kelly Services is immediately hiring for Porduction Associates for one of our customers in San Jose, CA. Our customer is a leading manifacturing company int he area looking for attentive, experience, enthusiastic candidates to join their team on a contract basis (12-14 months).

Pay:

$24/hr

Responsibilities:

• Review work order/traveler and follow sequence of operations and requirements.
• Maintain machine specific tools & consumables to ensure efficiency of equipment.
• Use and operate all hand tools and equipment necessary to perform the job.
• Verify conformance and dimensions of tubes, sheet, and components using laser micrometer, automated inspection equipment, microscopes and pin gauges.
• Perform all secondary and finishing operations that may be required, that includes but is not limited to: cutting sheet material to length, sandblasting, and cleaning.
• Maintain lot traceability, work orders and housekeeping practices at all times.
• Must have strong organizational and time management skills
• Will work with supervisor to identify and resolve production issues.
• Ability to perform rework operations to optimize process
• Accurately record daily production as required and provide detailed handover.
• Commitment to comply with ISO and manufacturing related requirements
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• 1-2 years of manufacturing and/or machining work experience
• Must be able to use measurement & inspection tools
• Must be able to use both hands in a semi-repetitive motion for up to 6hrs a day
• Must be able to occasionally lift 15-30 lbs.
