Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Manufacturing Production Planner for a Project engagement at one of our Global clients in Raynham, MA.
Pay rate: $40/hour benefits
Responsibilities:
* Prepares schedules and ensures timely completion of work orders for manufacturing processes.
* Analyzes product demand, sales patterns, forecasts. production specifications and plant capacity data.
* Identifies raw material and component requirements for production from engineering and production spec.
* Review s support documents for scheduling which includes ordering route sheets, entering all requirements into the computer, and so on.
* Monitor s planning modules or production planning system with current lead times, and related information.
* Establishes effective communication with various groups such as customers, sales offices, and plant production departments and monitors orders from start to finish to ensure the on-time delivery of products.
* Review s capacity loads and identifies possible manufacturing constraints.
* Monitors and anticipates production issues due to capacity and new product launches.
* Expedites and secures parts needed for production.
* Ensures timely ordering and delivery of components to support manufacturing activities.
* Prepares production reports.
* Analyzes month end activity to determine the need for forecast modification.
* Recommends revisions.
* Participates in new product launch meetings and assist in developing new product forecasts and production schedules.
* Plans, prepares, issues, and controls production schedules and material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirement.
* Identifies raw material and component requirement for production.
Requirements:
* Bachelor s Degree or Equivalent
* Requires 4-6 Years Work Experience
* Proficiency in MS Office, specifically MS Excel is required
* SAP, Windchil Doc experience desired
* Supply Chain Certification (APICS) a plus
