Kelly Engineering has an exciting opportunity with our client in Columbus, OH for a Production Planner-This role will support all materials and master planning activities including production control and scheduling, materials planning and stock accuracy.

General Responsibilities

• Continuous improvement of work and activities
• Compliance with the corporate mission statement
• Cooperation with other people in spirit of mutual respect
• Fulfilling thoroughly all tasks within the scope of defined qualifications and responsibilities
• Represent the company in professional and respectful manner.
• Maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information

Specific Responsibilities

• Oversee and enforce safety practices and conditions.
• Monitor and control the activities for optimal production orders management.
• Improve stock accuracy by monitoring receipts and consumption of materials.
• Create, implement, and maintain supply chain KPIs.
• Actively participate in logistics continuous improvement projects
  
  

Position Requirements

• Thorough understanding of MRP
• Knowledge of inventory controls
• Notion about production planning
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
