QC Lab Technician

PAY: $20/hr – W2

DURATION: 3 months (temp-to-perm)

LOCATION: On-site – Arlington, TX

SCHEDULE: 7am-7pm rotating weekends. After 90 days: 7pm-7:30am rotating weekend

• Three positions needed to be filled!
• Position is temp to perm. Timeline to perm is around 90 days.
• OT is required, 4 hours every other week
• One onsite interview with a tour.
• PPE: Temp agency provides static dissipating steel toe boots; client will provide all other PPE.

Job Description

• Tests and conducts routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in-process, and finished product, using variety of testing devices and procedures to maintain product quality.
• Collects, measures, and weighs samples of materials.
• Performs analytical tests on samples, using instrumentation and equipment
• Performs calculations to measure factors as purity, particle size, and hardness, applying arithmetic formula.
• Performs laboratory tests using conventional and computerized machines and work aids.
• Determines chemical and physical characteristics or composition.
• Sets up, readjusts, and operates laboratory equipment and instruments

• High school diploma required
• Lab experience and bachelor’s degree preferred
• Attention to detail
• Hands on industrial lab experience
• Experience following SOP’s
