What’s a typical day as a Quality Control Associate? You’ll be:
- May be responsible for 1st piece inspection in a specific department, or a specific quality issue that requires quality focus or assistance. Reviews departmental activities for 1st quality production.
- Oversees specified quality properties in a specific department
- Responsible for care of quality inspection equipment in a specific area
- Inspects established specifications validated on production prints or product skid tags for departmental product, and directed by Quality Manager
- Follows all departmental processes
- Notifies department supervision of any quality issues that effect production
- Communicates to Quality Manager any departmental internal non-conformances
- Works with department supervisors to Identify and correct product/process areas of concern
- Documents quality information into established spread sheets
- Practices good housekeeping skills associated department of responsibility
- Reports to the Quality manager.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Basic knowledge of Excel & Word..
- Minimum of 6 months quality experience.
- Able to read and understand procedures
- Able to read and understand blue prints
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to complete tasks with little supervision
